Martin Nwannunu
Martin’s educational journey began at Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, Nigeria where he bagged an OND in Accounting.
He went further to complete HND Degree in Accounting as well as Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Accounting from different Nigeria Universities. Mr Nwannunu holds a Masters Degree in Finance and he is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, ICAN, and also an associate of the Chartered Accountants & External Auditors of Nigeria with professional practicing license spanning across a decade.
Mr Nwannunu also obtained a Professional License to operate a Tax Consulting Firm as a Practiced Chartered Tax Practitioner at Chartered Institute of Taxation Nigeria (CITN).
From the year 1996 till date, Mr. Martin has proven to be a force to reckon with in the world of Finance. In the year 1996, Martin worked as a Treasury Staff at the Local Government Secretariat in Ekiti State.
Fast forward to year 2000, Mr. Martin worked his way up at Momen and Company Nigeria as a supervisor to become a Deputy Manager. He worked as a regional manager at Divenergy Services Limited where he handled all regional project and annual expenses amongst many other roles.
With perseverance and determination to make a mark in the Finance sector, Mr. Martin was appointed the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the Chartered Institute of Operations Management of Nigeria from the year 2016 till date where he is currently Coordinating the entire operational framework of the organization, Receiving Internal Audit report conformity, Setting standards that converted Financial Ideas to Economic Realities, Designed and installed workable internal controls and balanced liquidity and profitability trade-off.
Martin brings this long years wealth of experience in finance and taxation to BAUC International as the Director of Finance helping the company maintain credible and transparent records of clients accounts and also with his vast knowledge in Taxation he poised to manage clients taxes.
When he is not practicing Finance, Mr. Martin enjoys engaging in humanitarian services, and playing varieties of sports.
